Also, some new pieces recently added. With all the talk about our economy and money, we were inspired to create this fun collection, MONEY HONEY♥

I am elated and honoured to be working with artist CallowLily on Sugar Mafia’s next collaboration project. I have been a huge fan of her work since the moment I laid my eyes on it. It is the sweetest, most colourful addictive eye candy that you can never get enough of. Each one of her pieces exudes passion and thought provoking ecstasy, each stroke with masterful intent. Her genius brain is gorgeous. I know she will be revered as one of the most highly talented artists of our time. She is above everything, one of the nicest people with a heart of gold.

She approached me a long while back and I was thrilled! She makes her own jewelry and accessories so I would never even have thought to ask her because of that.  So, the timing was not exactly right then but I knew this would be something really special. I finally got back to her and was tickled pink when she was still interested! I had some ideas of some ‘Famous Dames’ as she calls them, iconic women that we have all related to over hundreds of years. I wanted to play on them a bit, modernizing and glamorizing them for today’s punk rock princesses and sugary sweet diva’s, something really special for Sugar Mafia Customers. She has blown me away, as usual.

I have planned my Spring ‘09 Collections around each of them i.e. ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ is inspired by… first up…Marie Antoinette. Stay tuned for the rest <3
